Lets say the owner of the largest bank in your town came up to you one day and said, "Here is a key to my vault. Whenever you need money, just go on in and take what you need. There is plenty there, just don't lose that key, it's the only way to get in." I know I would keep that key with me night and day so that I didn't lose it! Now imagine that this vault contains more that just financial security. Were talking patience, love, peace, endless self control, joy, freedom from worry and frustration. Boy, how much more important is that key now?
Did you know that God is just like this vault? He has everything we need to make our lives here on earth secure. All we need is the key. Jesus Christ is the key to God's vault. If you want what the Father has to offer you, all those things I mentioned earlier plus many more, all you need is to come to the Father with the Key and ask for help. He won't turn you away and His vault is always open for you.
