Even when you don't know, God does

On Palm Sunday, the church my husband and I attended talked about a recent mission trip they were going to be taking.  The were going to Rancho Sordo Mudo, which is a Christian school for deaf children in Baja California, Mexico.  The were leaving on Easter Sunday morning and flying out there for two weeks.  During the Palm Sunday service, the pastor talked about how they didn't have any idea what they were going to be doing for the school, just that they God called them to go and assist in any way that they could.  We prayed for the group of 25 that was heading out and that God would keep them safe and show them what they could do for the school.
Have you seen the news?  When I saw that an earthquake had hit the very area that this group was going into I smiled.  Not because they were hit with an earthquake, but because God knew what was going to happen and sent this willing group of servants there at the precise moment that they were needed.  God knows, even when we don't know.  If you place your life in God's hands, it's gonna be a great ride.  You are not always going to know what is ahead of you on the road, but if you trust in Him, he will lead you where you are needed and get you there when you are needed most.

Dear Lord,
Thank you for this group of willing servants.  They didn't know what they were heading into, but You did.  Thank you for sending them where they were needed and when they were needed, even when they had no idea what they were going to be facing.  Please be with them and the residents of the school and help them all to see that you have a plan for them and for all of us.  All we have to do is accept and follow.  In Jesus' name, Amen.
